For winter climbing that is.

I know Shenavall, Suileag and a couple of locked huts, but that's about it.

Thanks for any info.

Coirefionnaraich, north of the road at Coulags.

Great bothy, not much climbing from it though (unless you walk over the top to Sgorr Ruadh) and it's about 3 miles from the road, but it's in a good central location.

Maybe not ideal if you're after an early start, but a luxurious place to stay on saturday night if you've bivvied somewhere on friday night...

In reply to andy moles: Coiremor bothy; remote, but right beneath the crags.

Aye that's the other one I do know of actually, stayed there recently. If the snow conditions were good you could bash straight up to Fuar Tholl from there as well.

Poca Buidhe, near Baosbheinn and Beinn an Eoin in the Flowerdale forest.
Bearnais near Lurg Mhor and Bidean a' Choire Sheasgaich.
Sourlies for Sgurr na Ciche and the eastern Knoydart peaks.
Glenbeg for Beinn Dearg and the nearby hills.

As has already been mentioned here, Camban bothy is a wonderfully situated bothy surrounded by big peaks all of which really move up a gear in the winter. Coiremor and Magoo's bothys are also wonderfully remote, very comfortable and situated below the wonderful soaring and sharp Creag an Duine ridge. There are many long winter lines in the stunning Luchd Coire under the summit of Seana Bhraigh.
