just glancing at the latest top ascents page, apparently a number of high e number routes were soloed today at Burbage south above snow, find this pretty astonishing, I'm not the most experienced climber but just struck me as quite remarkable

btw, his blog is interesting... "About half seven, about ten miles past Hermiston Gait I drifted off and clipped the middle crash barrier. Swerved a few times before hitting the side crash barrier head on, I think at about 50.... Called mum then the police." I don't think I'd be admitting that on a publicly available blog and posting idiot stuff to draw attention to myself on here.

And I should add I hope he's learnt a lesson about driving tired and takes care of himself in future.

after christmas dinner there was nothing else to do and he left ukc on his laptop so i decided to get a few hard ascents ticked for him
i apologise for anyone whose hard ascents have not been added to the hard ascents list
