In reply to avonclimber: The BMC's South West team has also organized a crag clearance day at the Main Area, Avon Gorge on Sunday 30th January to coincide with the area gathering. This will seek to continue with the great work that was done just over a year ago in clearing vegetation to form a path along the base of the cliffs.
The day will start at 10am. There will be a registration point, and refreshments will available. If you could bring along any or all of loppers, secateurs, bow saws that would be great, although there will be a selection of tools available. It would be a good idea to have some gardening gloves too.
The regular SW area meeting takes place that evening in the Nova Scotia (Cumberland Basin) at 7pm. Tasty and plentiful snacks will be served.
