Having seen petzl nomic axes in Rjukan this year I was going to buy a pair for pure ice climbing and dry tooling. I liked the razor sharpness and well balanced and lightness - all leading to effortless placements. However they all appear to have been withdrawn from sale by petzl because of problems with the adjustable handle.
Can anyone recommend an alternative axe that fits the same sort of specification
