I had a meeting yesterday with the Peak Park and RSPB at Hen Cloud yesterday as the Peregrines have returned to nest. So, some voluntary restrictions have been put in place from the Pinnacles (Bulwark etc) through to The Arete area (climbing starts again on Modern/Ancient). This is the same restriction as last year but we hope to raise it earlier as they ahve agreed that once the birds are fledging we'll go an have a climb and see how it bothers the birds and if they seem ok with it then the restrictions will be lifted.

Joking aside, the Rangers tell us where the birds are nesting and then we come to arrangements with them. The male has been around for the past year or so across all areas. Beautiful to watch, eh.
