I was wondering if anyone had tried the Rick Graham choss-fest at Beacon Scar?

It looks like a classy line taking in the overhanging rubble right of 'A Fat Bastard's Last Fling'.

How far from E2 5b is it?

Thanks.

What wind up mission are you on now?

BTW Indian Creek is still Utahs answer to Beacon Scar. Some of the crack climbs there are brill. (or so I used to think when I was your age)

BTW2 Have I ever done any new routes at Beacon?

Rick

BTW3 Where's my Pocket Rocket (stove) ???
In reply to Rick Graham:

BTW1: yes. They are RAD. Some of the walls in between look good too.

BTW 2: According to Climbonline you have- up the overhanging choss

BTW 3: Yeh I have it back home I think. I think I picked it up on pabay. I will look when I get home next week.

Honestly can't remember anything about it.
Either it was so frightening I have deleted it from the memory banks or I never did it. Probably the latter.

regards Rick

O, well I'll keep an eye out for any evidence of your past presence...

Yet your comment wasn't remotely witty.

Hi Steve

Thats old(er) age for you.
I have the same problem at the Grochan about climbing Sickle.
At least twice there I have suggested to do it as a last route of the day thinking I have never done it.
The patient reply has always been " but Dad we did it last time we were here".

Hi Steve

I have had a good trawl through climbonline now.
Top marks to the compilers.
I must get back to some of my old haunts. I can remember (??!!) only four evening visits since 1978.
Will e mail some corrections and additions to your FA lists.

Regards Rick

Hi Rick

Thanks for all that feedback.

I'll get my staff at Climbonline Towers on to that next week.

Best Regards

Steve
