to make sure my bike complies with insurance requirements, I want to fit an anchor point inside our garage/carport. I'd prefer to have a wall mounted point (which is made of brick) rather than having to fix something to the paving slabs on the floor. Can anyone suggest a good option?

thanks

B&Q are doing a wall/floor anchor and chain for £20, which I'm pretty sure has been priced wrong - get 'em while you can!

Can't find the exact thing on the website, but it's more or less these 2 - think the chain is a slightly different length:

Cheers LBS - to be honest it was your posting about your friends bikes getting nicked that got me thinking...

wall anchors are quite easy to remove to be honest, if you have a concrete floor wack some rhino bolts down into it with just a basic welded ring plate its all ive done for my motorbikes for years, cheapest and most secure option, if its just paving then yes stick one on the wall, get some shorter rhino bolts and use a slightly smaller ring plate
