I found a tick on me today after climbing at Sea Walls on Friday night. It could have only come from the descents to Sea Walls i.e. the now-fenced in gulley or the steep decent path down from the top of the cliff. Also a partner said he found one after climbing in the Desecrator area a couple of weeks back.
It's maybe worth checking yourself over now after climbing at Avon and using any of the vegetated descent/approach paths.
