In reply to Martin Haworth:

I just acquired a Lowe Alpine attack 35, brand new design on the market and its great. I had Berghaus Arete 45 before, but really flimsy ice axe holding system and fabric not robust to being dragged about on granite. The Lowe Alpine is made of Dyneema fabric unlike the Peak Attack 35 and is functional without silly attachments you don't need and get in the way. The hip belt goes round the front out of the way when you have a harness on and has a simple pull out mat for emergency bivy. Also 3 points for sac hauling, if reqd and that's a good bit of thinking. The new design of ice axe attachments is very good and solid. I checked a lot of products before deciding on this one and Lowe Alpine Uk were very good on advise and customer support.
