I want to learn rock climbing. Could you recommend a course which is acredited and worth it. I have seen some 1-2 day offers for a climbing course> But is that enough? Can I learn ropework and all the necessary stuff in just 2 days?

In reply to Aiezsedai: Can I suggest you join a club and just get out climbing with someone more experienced. Far and away the best way to learn and you can build a circle of climbing friends/partners into the bargain.

Get yourself out to Ratho. Assuming from your post that you are a complete novice, do the intro to climbing course to get the basics on safety (tie in / belay), then take it from there.

Loads of groups there who will happily show you more as you progress and the quarry attached is good at taking your first steps outside.
