When do the midges disappear in the Glencoe region please?

I live in Glencoe and they've not been too bad at all this year to be honest, especially just now as it is fairly chilly for the time of year. But you're looking at late september I suppose before they disappear, depending on how warm and humid it is.

By the time you get into September you're definitely over the worst of them, and by the en of the month they're more or less gone.

I'd have to disagree with James and say that on occasion this summer they've been spectacularly bad (although not specifically in Glencoe)

They are always there. It is just your donald duck if you get the right conditions to get absolutely beasted by them.
