Rock fall Great Orme

Hello

Paid a visit to the Great Orme earlier today to gain access to Parisellas Cave however the gate guard has denied entry onto the Orme till Monday.

He informed me that the area affected is the caged areas, I'm assuming this must be the Southern end of Marine Drive.

Apparently they will be inspecting the area on Monday 19th September and will be closed until further notice, this effects lower Pen Trwyn too.

In reply to allymar: Hi the Warden is Sally here is the landline number which you can get from the halfway house tram stop on the Orme.

Warden: 01492 874151. I've given them a call and left a message as yet no reply, so if you do get a reply please post back result.

In reply to halo: I left a message with Sally yesterday and have just heard back that the rockfall has now been cleared and marine drive is open again as normal.
