After watching The Wildest Dream last night, I wondered to myself if we will ever know if they made it.

Personally I would love to believe that they did, but how will we ever know? Short of someone finding the photograph on the summit or finding Irvine's body with some more clues, will we ever know?

What does the UKC collective think about it?

I don't think we will ever know for sure. I'd don't think they did summit but I'd love to be proved wrong.

Personally I hope it remains a mystery

DNA found at the summit would be the only way I could think that it could be thought he made it. But of course not 100% .
