Is this the crag visible from the A65, across the valley to the right as you turn from the Silsden road onto the A65 towards Skipton? If not, what's that crag you can see called?

Clare - are you talking about coming over from Silsden to the old A65 at Addingham then turning L to head towards Skipton? Beamsley Beacon is the pointy hill directly in front as you drop down from Cringles towards Addingham. Its not really a crag.

You're not talking Simon's Seat out in the distance are you?
In reply to Tall Clare:

Beamsley Beacon is near Bolton Abbey, as you come from Addingham and turn Right onto the Harrogate road it's up to your right.

That's the road, and if Beamsley Beacon is the hill, it's definitely not that. It looks like a crag from that junction. I'll go exploring next week when I'm in that direction and try to work out what it is.
