Just thought people might be interested in Gecko ski skins. No glue, no faff with backing papers. We bought some and so far are very impressed. They are a bit pricier than normal skins, but when it's blowing a hoolie and chucking with snow, I don't begrudge the money at all for the lack of faff!!

This is very interesting. How long have you had them and in what sort of snow conditions have you been able to use them? There was an issue with durability in the early model. Do you get the feeling they will stand up to normal wear and tear?

I too was tempted by these but was holding off until I heard a few reports.

we have only just got them, so can't say yet for durability. But the guy in the ski shop we bought them from uses them daily and he is onto his second season with them. We were willing to go on that recommendation!!
As for snow, as I say, we haven't used them much, but they were fine in heavy powdery stuff that we played in with them.
