Anyone have the grid ref for North Face car park In Fort William, have tried to find the turn off before but to no avail thought if I put in in my car sat nav this time I could manage not to miss it.

You drive down the A82, or up, as the case may be.

You get to the sign that says TORLUNDY.

YOu realise you've gone too far and backtrack.

YOu go up the side road till you get to the ridiculous traffic light on the ridiculous railway bridge.

YOu go through this on red. (Come on. If you think you've got what it takes to climb on Indicator Wall, but you don't have what it takes to jump this red, then you are kidding yourself.)

And there you are.

Should probably say that it is the grid ref for the turn off, you asked for the ref for the car park but it sounds like it's the turn you're missing...

Coming from Spean Bridge, it's the only left turn between Aonach Mor and the end of the Fort. Can that really be so hard? If you slow down a bit, how is it even possible not to get this right?

I've often found the road sign saying "North Face" with a big blue "P" on it to be an unsubtle hint as well but I was trying to be nice...

If I was going to be rude I would have pointed the OP in the direction of Google Streetview which lets you practice driving all the way to the car park from safe on your sofa...

I've never jumped that traffic light - is this why I'm stuck on grade IV?
