The Gorropu Gorge, Sardinia, 3 kbFrom Planet Mountain comes this video of Barabara Zangerl's 4th try ascent of Hotel Supramonte, [~7b+, 7c+, 8b, 8a+, 8b, 7c, 7a, 7b, 7b+, 7b. 6b+] in the Gorropu gorge, Sardinia. The ascent was made in April this year.

Hotel Supramonte is undoubtedly the most famous route in the Gorroppu gorge, and one of the most famous MP routes not just in Sardinia but in Europe/the world, but there are several others, from 6b+ max upwards, and all share the great atmosphere inside the gorge. See eg http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.php?id=100520 The walk down from Genna Silana is one of the best walks in Sardinia (as recommended by this Lonely Planet article http://www.lonelyplanet.com/italy/travel-tips-and-articles/76875 ). I am lucky to live 1 hour from Genna Silana where you walk/ride down from.
