Hello,
I was looking for a new rope bag and spotted the edelrid caddy. It seems perfect for what I am looking for. However, I cannot find it for sale in the UK. I know it is new for 2012, so it may not be for sale yet but I have seen reviews of it from October 2011.
Can anyone suggest where I may find it, or if not an alternative which is smilar?
Thankyou

In reply to holly Sidney: Can not help you with finding Edelrid bag but have a look at Metolious RopeMaster.

There's a Simond rope bag available in Decathlon, which is similar-ish to the Caddy. It's a shoulder-style bag which has an integrated circular tarp, with a draw string round the perimeter and can be drawn closed in one simple action when moving between routes. Very good, robust bag, with good features and at a low price. I think it was sub-£20 when my climbing partner got his.

I've got an old and basic POD rope bag which is very good in its simplicity to be honest. I also have one of the long Black Diamond ones which are a bit counter-intuitive and I've never been very keen on it for a number of reasons.

I was given the Metolius Ropemaster for Xmas by some kind soul and it does seem rather excellent. I'm always torn between getting one which you can wear like a ruc sac and one with just a shoulder strap but if you normally carry a rucsac anyway, the single shoulder strap variant must be better.

Really good bag for keep your gear organised. I bought mine 2nd hand off here about 18 months ago and it's taken loads of abuse since then. The only moan i had was the rope mat was a bit small so i just swapped it for the one in my moon voyager.
