Hi all
Planning a trip to Himalayan this spring to climb 2 peaks in the Annapurna Region, and Im looking for some great local contacts for a guide or sherpa (not sure if I/we need a guide or not)

A good local trek leader is Indra Tamang at itamang@hotmail.com. He runs a trekking agency and will fix you up (probably camping which is better than dodgy lodges - and cheaper). For climbing he will fix you up with climbing permits and a climbing sirdar if you need one. This will save you 2 days faffing about with the local bureaucracy. Tell him your reference is Alan Howard. Good luck!
