Kandersteg ice conditions?

Anyone been to Kandersteg lately, perhaps for the festival? Whats the ice like? Going there in 6 days...

A mate of mine was there this weekend gone. Lots of snow but ice routes weren't in condition.

I was at the festival last weekend. Virtually no ice there at the moment I am afraid.

There are some drytooling crags I believe.

In reply to alpinestar_no1: Snow everywhere, but ice is thin on the ground.

Cogne has some ice, and is perhaps your best bet, but it's not a great ice season so far.
