Great review of 'The Long Hope' in Climb this month:

"Central to the singular, soulful brilliance of this film is its affirmation of climbing as a fundamentally shared act...

Paul Diffley shows how different generations of climbers are united by a poetry of hope that transcends the boundaries of style. Both for this, and for its magisterial cinematography, 'The Long Hope' is likely to become one of the definitive classic of the early twentieth century climbing filmmaking." - David Pickford, Climb
