Hello all,

This Sunday, 12th Feb is a BMC Avon Gorge clearance day, starting from 10am. Meet in Main Area.

We'll be clearing scrub from the bases of the cliffs so its easier to make your way to the routes; continuing the great work of the previous couple of years. Refreshments provided; bonfire (weather permitting).

Please bring tough footwear; gardening gloves or similar, and any tools you might have (secateurs, loppers, bow saws, shears, forks...)

Is there going to be spare kit around (or jobs for those without any)?

My flat has no garden, so whilst I can lay my hands on gloves I have no gardening equipment...

In reply to AJM: There will be a few spares. Also I'm sure there will be other jobs if tools run out.

Grand. My other half and I should be there for part of the day then. I'll spread the word to some friends as well.
