/ NEWS: VIDEO: Monique Forestier - Tom et je Ris (8b+)
Gazing across at the far side of the gorge she became captivated by an extraordinary line which follows a single "tufa" line for most of the 60-metre route. It is called "Tom et je Ris" (8b+).

Nice work Simon and Monique.
My awe is inspired
Yes, brilliant. I've always thought this looked a magnificent line. Shame it's so hard - not to mention the impossible bridging at the top. I feel inspired to do a pull up. No, make that two.
I got sweaty palms, very inspiring!!
Splendid. And good to see the Verdon getting some attention.
Robbie Philips' blog has a load of entries in it from when they did this a few months back. Good video, definitely a route to inspire you to try harder!
Great video the route looks desperate so sustained
didn't know this had had a british ascent, and I hadn't heard of Robbie so ta......had this slipped under the UKC news radar?
Terrific filn; someone sent me the link to it a while back but worth seeing again.
Presumably just the two of them from the UK, I don't know.

Her grunting reminds me of Maria Sharapova playing tennis.
Hahaha, shame UKC has no "like" button!
Amazing video. oftentimes hard sport routes don't take so much of a "line", it's more of a "avoid the easier holds 1 meter over". This route looks outstanding though, really well defined line and rock beautiful enough to bring tears to the eye, I'd definitely add it to my wish list!
Great vid, nice music, amazing line - brilliant!
Great video. amazing line and amazing moves on it. well done.
That girl can bridge!
