"The Trustee's of the Cambrian Mountains Society invite you to a discussion to be chaired by Mark Williams MP on Friday 9th March at 7.15pm at Ysgol Penweddig, Aberystwyth.

Windfarms- Benefit or Burden?

Particular mention will be made of the impending planning application for a wind power station at Nant y Moch near Aberystwyth together with the associated hubs and pylons across the area.

A distiguished and expert panel including Neville Thomas QC, Dr Lance Mytton and Myfanwy Alexander will discuss the issues and will welcome contributions from the floor. It will follow the format of Question Time.

Well done for posting this - was on my to do list for this week!

But why BMC? It's not really BMC business IMHO? Would prefer to see it in Off Belay really?

The BMC caters for walkers as well as climbers, and as an area popular with walkers, I think it comes under an interest for their members.
