Hello and thanks for looking.
Some local climbers and Rokt climbing Gym have decided to have a clean up day at Woodhouse Scar in Halifax (Sat 28th April). This crag is a little gem, but suffers at the hands of bottle smashing litter bugs. If you can lend a hand on the day it would be much appreciated.
We will be meeting at the tower end at 10am. The council will provide refuse sacks and will be removing them later.
Please search "Woodhouse Scar Clean Up" on facebook or post up for more info.

Thanks.

Good and done ready for a late lunch pint in the wonderful Big 6 public house. Chris and the ROKT crew are heros as I've never seen the crag cleaner in 20+ years of use.

After the litter was gone I cleared some of the bramble regrowth at the base of some buttresses and the exits of some minor routes and clipped right back the gorse on the ledge on Pyramid Buttress (that affects Spreadeagle).

The crag really could do with more traffic as the folk that litter dont tend to do so anything like as much when climbers are there.
