In reply to Maurice52: I've had a pair of Gore Xenon bibs for over a year and they've been fantastic. They're getting slightly thin now but that's after a lot of winter miles where they've been really comfortable in the wet. The great thing about them is the fit which assumes you are shaped like a road cyclist, a lot of the less expensive bibs don't! I've recently got some Castelli Aero Race bibs and so far they seem at least as good, arguably with better materials, but time will tell.
