We've had this van for nearly three years (one previous owner) and it has proved ideal for a climber's base. So far has proved very reliable. The van is large enough to be comfortable but small enough to be OK on Scottish single track and those minor roads you use to get to some crags. It's kitted out for off-site use with a 70 litre water tank cassette toilet and spacious shower.
Base vehicle Fiat Ducato 2.8 turbo diesel 5 speed.
First registered 2005
About 30,000 miles, regularly serviced.
Four almost new tyres.
New battery last year.
Berths: 2 (cross-van sleeping arrangement – best to be no more than 6ft tall!)
Three way fridge
2 burner hob
Plenty of storage for those ropes and stuff.
Bike rack
