Hi,

I'm heading out to MB at the end of next month (June), and i'm unsure what kind of jacket to take. I have a MH down jacket, but i think it may be too warm for the summit attempt. Also what kind of temperatures should i expect from the gouter hut and onwards to the summit?

Can anyone advise?
Thanks

In reply to Hammy78: Wore a soft shell last August- but had a Down Jacket in my pack (general rule of thumb sems to be to take a down jacket just in case if going above 4000M ).We did the 3 Monts- great route.

In reply to Hammy78: Take what you would normally take if you were heading for a days climbing in winter here. Base layer, fleece and hard shell should see you right.
In reply to Hammy78: Take it - it was bitterly cold when I summitted. You can always take layers off and put them in your rucsac.
