Sandy Allan, Rick Allen and Cathy O'Dowd are currently on expedition attempting to make the first ascent of Nanga Parbat via the Mazeno Ridge – the longest ridge on any 8000m mountain. The ridge itself includes eight 7000m peaks and has never been climbed all the way to the summit.
British climbers Sandy and Rick have teamed up with South African climber Cathy to attempt what is considered one of the last great challenges of the Himalaya.
