Skiing in Africa

Has anyone skied at the Afri-Ski resort in Lesotho? I may be going to SA in August and won't be far from the Lesotho border. What's the skiing like? How does it compare with say a Scottish ski area? Can you hire skis there?

I have friends who have (many years ago) skied there.

Not much snow, very small area, but the Drakensberg are good.
