My family live 30 minutes north of Malaga in a place called Villanueva del Rosario, chillam Ballam is there... Has anyone been? Anyone know of any good bouldering spots for a novice?

I don't know what the grades for beginners would be like, but you can find the Rosario boulder field (the locals call it Kaos) here:
