I've no idea but I'd keep away from it as it looks terrifying.

In the Scorpion family is my un educated guess.
It's a whip scorpion of some sort.
I've definitely seen one of them on a wildlife program before but I can't remember what it is called. My initial thought was a false scorpion but it turns out they don't have tails.
Tailless Whipscorpion or Giant Vinegaroon (Harmless).

... i forgot to add, they are pretty harmless (non-venonous).
Sounds right, Wikipedia suggests it isn't going to have your leg off :-)

Ooh a whiptail scorpion (Mastigoproctus giganteus) haven't seen one of them in a while.
