Babsi Zangerl on pitch 9, 8b+, The End of silence, 5 kbBarbara "Babsi" Zangerl has made the first female ascent of Thomas Huber's 1994 multi-pitch The End of Silence, 8b+, at Feuerhorn in the Berchtesgadener Alps, southern Germany.

The End of silence was put up the same year as two other hard core multi-pitches, Stefan Glowacz' Des Keisers neue...

Awesome effort, congratulations! By the way, read her blog and there she says it's a back injury which kept her away from Silbergeier. This happened on some specific weird moves in the Silbergeier crux and that's why she preferred to work the End of Silence, despite both being of similar style (i.e. fingery).
In reply to Cellinski: Thanks, somehow I thought Bandscheiben had to do with fingers... But you're correct, it's her back problems again.
