Quay Climbing Centre Birthday Bash Competition - September 8th 2012
We're celebrating our 1st Birthday with a massive competition on the 8th!

Sponsored by: 5.10, Red Chilli, Lyon, La Sportiva, Wild Country, Berghaus, Taunton Leisure, Entre-Prises UK and Exeter College - great prizes for all categories

Junior Competition - 9.30am to 12.30pm
Under 10's and Under 14's categories - top rope and bouldering problems
£5 entry on the day, great prizes from our sponsors

Open Competition - 12noon to 5.30pm
We're running three categories for this competition to give climbers of all abilities the chance to compete and have a go at winning one of the great prizes from our sponsors:

Top rope and bouldering only - for climbers who are not yet lead climbing
Lead and bouldering Recreational Category - for climbers whose onsight limit is 6b
Lead and bouldering Elite Category - for climbers who are onsighting above 6b

Plus Dyno, Speed and Dry Tooling Comps

£6 entry on the day for the open competition - £5 for those only entering the Dyno or Speed competitions.

There will be lots of other events going on in the centre on the 8th. Special guest Steve McClure will be leading two climbing clinics (£30 per person) and giving a talk in the evening at 7pm. Tickets for the talk are free but do need to be reserved in advance. We'll be running a bar from 7pm til late to celebrate our birthday!

Lots of side competitions with free membership give aways and other spot prizes!

Also there is a category for those whose onsight limit is 6b
