Hello. I was thinking about travelling around Europe next year hitting various Boulder locations. I only really know of Fontainebleau and Magic wood. Any suggestions? Thank you .

This is a place that Brits seem not to visit much (or indeed anyone)
http://digilander.libero.it/lagoni/

It's in the Appennini hills SW of Parma, in Italy.
It is described as very Font-like, but high up so cool in summer. I visited the area and can vouch that it is lovely, but I haven't climbed enough there to pass judgement on the bouldering overall.
There is excellent sports climbing quite nearby in Tuscany as well, and even long routes in the Apuane. An interesting area.

Another "new" Italian bouldering venue is Val Daone.
There is already a whole guidebook dedicated to bouldering in the valley.

Slouppi is a bit out of date on bouldering, most stuff including all the new stuff is on http://27crags.com/countries/finland There is a vast number of venues here (in Finland), although many - but not all - are smallish; and just more and more blocs and walls are being discovered all the time. Other things that make it not a bad place to visit is you are pretty much free to camp where you like and its easy to survive and get around speaking English. In the summer you can pretty much boulder all night if you like as it doesn't ever get very dark.

Against is that the weather is always super reliable (although better than the UK in summer), the long days won't be the best conditions (too hot) and some years/places, mosquitos can be horrible. Cooler temps in spring or autumn come with the chance of worse weather. But you could easily tour the country for a good few weeks visiting different bouldering venues almost every day if you wish. There's plenty of bouldering in the bigger towns and cities so you can also boulder + do tourist stuff.

There is huge amounts of bouldering being developed in Sweden too it seems currently which again very few people in the UK seem to know about.
