Anyone know if we'll be able to walk up Ben Avon and Ben a Bhuidhe from the south on Sunday? The Heading For the Scottish Hills website has been usefully designed so it doesnt work from a mobile

In reply to Toreador:

No Sunday stalking.

But in future you should use Hillphones:

http://www.snh.org.uk/hillphones/map_detail.asp?AreaID=11

Main stag stalking dates:
Mid Sep – 20 Oct

Telephone:
Braemar (01339) 741911
In reply to Jack Frost: thanks!

Hillphones is a bit out of date now.

You should be able to read this though off of the new website.

And yes, no stalking on sundays.

(Its a great walk BTW)
In reply to Mike_Watson_99:
Thanks. I've raised the issue with them that the site is inaccessible on many mobiles - a bit pointless given that the information is apparently only updated accurately a day or two in advance when they decide where to shoot.

Anyone know which estate is immediately to the north of Invercauld? As well as Ben Avon and Beinn a'Bhuird, we took in all the tops, many of which are in the neighbouring estate (which isn't part of the scheme).

In reply to Toreador:

The estate immediately to the north of Invercauld *the place* is, er, Invercauld Estate.

The estate immediately to the north of Invercauld *Estate* is, I'm pretty sure, Inchrory.
In reply to Tim Chappell:
Thanks, yes I meant north of the Estate. Luckily they weren't stalking on Sunday either, so we didn't get shot

In reply to Tim Chappell:
I normally use this site which is not the best.

Invercauld is in the Aberdeen map and I think where you were is on Banff which may make it the GlenAvon estate?
