I'm torn between steely grey limestone, and rich red sandstone.

Rich red sandstone (or pretty much anything) looks way better than steely grey limestone though. I reckon one of the reasons sponsors like Grit so much is because its photogenic.

Orange. Glass smooth wave washed sandstone or steep orange limestone, I'm not fussy.

If I can't have that then purple and green.

All the best rock is pink. Staffordshire grit, Sheigra gneiss, and Cornish granite. If it's not pink, it's sh!t.
