Why? That was a useful feature.

A very useful feature. UK Climbing has made it harder to follow everything, not easier.

Is there some app to create your own blog update thing?

I'm not against change generally but The Lowdown & Blogs was my go to section. I demand a recount!

Pretty well any RSS reader will do it. Do a search either for "RSS reader" or "News aggregator". If you are after a mobile app then Flipboard is pretty good, certainly available for iOS, probably for Android as well.

If you can program even a little bit then check out SimplePie - it's a PHP library - very easy to add to a web page (providing your hosting uses PHP)

In reply to Alan James - Rockfax: Have you any plans to add winter top ascents to the Top Ascents feature during the winter season? That would be inspiring, maybe from VII or VIII upwards?

In reply to a lakeland climber:

Cheers, I'll do that.

In reply to MattG: I'd like to see this too, would be very useful to see what condition things are in.
In reply to MattG:

Hi Matt, thanks for the suggestion. We'll definitely look into it!

The date order (?) seems odd in the ascents page:
http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/topascents.html

Also links to blogs would be useful - I know other climbing sites have these on!
In reply to j_duds:

The order was changed to grade instead of date order.

As a contributor of content (completely free of charge) to this site from my blog (for example: http://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/page.php?id=4534) I am very disappointed by this change.
