Camping near London

Thinking of taking my girlfriend camping as it looks like the weather might hold out for the weekend. She's not a big 'outdoorsy' person so somewhere with a toilet and shower would be good, I can't stand kids running around though so a sprawl of tents wouldn't be ideal for me...

Does anyone have any tips on good campsites within a few hours of south London that seem like a good shout? I've taken her to the peak before so I reckon maybe somewhere more 'south coast' ish would be good, east sussex perhaps or similar.

Cheers!

Cheap option, camp in woods by Harrison's Rocks. Nice pub within short walk (the further of the two).

Excellent facilities and it is large so even if there are other families there, you will easily be able to find a quiet spot. Brighton is a short drive / train away and there are some excellent pubs nearby. Very convenient for the South Downs. The only downside is that the local road can be a bit noisy.
