Pendleton will win it.
In reply to BelleVedere: I suspect the lad from the boyband will be pretty good. Hard to tell with the ladies..Pendleton and Van Outen maybe?

In reply to BelleVedere: Hopefully this will be the last series of pr hungry celebs ruining primetime tv. It ranks right up with xfactor for utter pish value. I for one will be avoiding it like scratchy ball plague. I'm pretty tired of my tv licence being taken up by programmes based on grown adults being rubbish at something and then expecting this to be entertaining.

Doesn't that describe a lot of football though?

(before I get shouted at, I'm joking)

In reply to The Big Man:

For some people it is entertaining. We pay for many programmes we wouldn't ever watch, even 'primetime'. However we now have a plethora of channels to choose from with the emergence of freeview - turn over.

It is true though, its like watching paint dry

In reply to BelleVedere:

I've only ever seen bits of it, but I reckon Johnny Ball will be good, as will Louis Smith.
 Ava Adore 11 Sep 2012
In reply to BelleVedere:

Pendleton has no dance experience so I'm not sure she'll do as well as folk will expect. Kimberley Walsh and Denise van Outen will probably both do well. Blimey, hasn't Tracey Beaker grown up!
 Ava Adore 11 Sep 2012
In reply to Tall Clare:

Louis Smith should certainly be entertaining watching with his gymnastics background.
 Alex Slipchuk 11 Sep 2012
In reply to Tall Clare: i concur Clare

Yeah i reckon he's the one to watch

Maybe it's because i never wear heels, makeup or skirts that i love strictly - i like glamour and glitz on other people (just not on me). Have no intrest at all in the singy programs though (singing dull songs badly - meh!)

Maybe, but there's no way the BBC will let a climate change denier win!
In reply to BelleVedere:
I'm looking forward to the series but I think it has got abit flashy, I mean in the group dance they did on saturday night there was lifts and alsorts, they do too much too soon theres no proper progression of learning and improving any more, its all just showy stuff for the crowds.
(it makes me smile to watch it thou, cus I can imagen my dads voice moaning about brucie, and the dramatic pauses.)

It describes a lot of things, from game shows to news reading
