Anybody know what Masson Lees condition is like at the mo ? Thanks.

After the recent dryish spell Masson will be fine, never has much seepage so generally OK unless it has rained very recently. Will be sandy in places but it always is! Great little venue, I love it.

In reply to psborland: I climbed at Masson last Saturday and had a good day up and down the overhanging walls: but they were not in brilliant condition. On a number of the routes: EXO6, Handy Borehole, Nice One Masson,Quatrieme Quartier, the holds were quite soapy. The Black walls were not in good nick. Hilti Sound System and the routes around there were fine.

Fair bit of loose rock around on Saturday. Guys next to us on Satsuma nearly got nailed by a fair chunk. First time there for me Sat and it was fun, but wear a helmet.
