/ Good bunkhouse in N Wales
There will be approx 10 people in total and the bunkhouse needs to have a decent lounge type area that can double as a classroom, have a drying room and be fairly central to Ogwen and the Pass. Looking around £15 per person / night .
Any ideas welcome.
You could try Blue Peris mountain centre as they have a small bunk house type building (white Peris)
We've just refurbished parts of our hut, it's £10 per night for non-members. Based in Deiniolen. Both the kitchen and the lounge are big enough for 10+ people, but we don't have a whiteboard (or similar) at the hut. We have a decent drying room. Details here:
Try Caban Cysgu www.cabancysgu-gerlan.co.uk. I know that quite a few ML training courses are run from there.
plas y brenin outdoor persuits at capel curig have their own bunkhouse on site ,(from memory ,it was called hebbog cottage.)i have stayed there several times .
it fits your bill exactly .centrally heated sleeps alot more than ten,2 showers large well stocked kitchen (which can double as a training room if needed.)facility for drying clothes ,decent bar, climbing wall etc and very reasonable rates.price is depending on numbers though.
worth a phonecall maybe.
I thought it was a pretty good gem of a place. Can't remember how much we all paid, but don't recall it being exorbitant.
