Mina Leslie-Wujastyk climbing Mecca... 8b+ at Raven Tor, 4 kbMina Leslie-Wujastyk recently climbed the classic 8b+ Mecca, the mid-life crisis at Raven Tor in the Peak District - making her the first British woman to climb 8b+ in Britain, and the second British women to climb that grade anywhere.

Superb!! And climbed the top move the sloper way which is harder than the way most ppl do it reaching off the undercut. thats the first time I have seen anyone use the sloping foothold at the base of the groove as a handhold, awesome!

I kind of liked it ;0)

Got my Mum staying at the minute and she wondered what the hell i was watching.

Inspiring stuff and it looked easy in the end.

It looked way beyond me too Gordon, i just meant she looked smooth and in control on the actual send. I wouldn't get off the floor.

Wow what an amazing climb! Well done Mina, go girls! If I could only climb anywhere near that grade, I do make the stupid noises though!

Wow, Mina is my new heroine.

As a girl, I find it so much more inspirational & relevant watching chicks pushing it out than guys.

She's brilliant. I'm going to boulder REALLY hard tonight thinking about this vid.
