Hello all

I'm off to do some Canyoning in NZ and need advice on which helmet to get.
Have been told of the Petzl Elios and the BD Half Dome but to me they are just names as I'm just starting out. Having said that, I'm going to be working in the canyons do need a decent one.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

In reply to Rosybud: personally instead of getting a climbing helmet i would get a kayaking/canoeing one so there for would recommend looking at the sweet range of helmets, bit more pricey but probably better for what you want it for.
