just recently got my hands on one
putting it in my "emergency kit" for the next time i have to prussic up a rope

just wondering what the lowest rope diameter anyone has ever paired this with? it is rated for 10 - 11 mm rope (stamped on the side)

i know it goes against manufacturer's recommendations, but going lower is pretty common practice on many of the gear we use (i.e. grigri and other belay devices, etc)

any personal experience you can share?... im not planning on using it on say a 8.5mm ropes, but what about a skinny single rope? (9.1 to 9.4mm)

In reply to valjean: I have a feeling I've tried mine on 9mm and they worked OK, but they normally stamp things on the side for a reason, so best try it close to the ground first on a narrower rope and see how it feels.
