Nope. The gate stays locked - it's the way the landowners are doing things now. It's not exactly a long walk.

Just be sure you park considerately please as we don't want the estate aggravated viewing climbers as a problem too. If in any doubt park where the hill walkers do.

Blanacoul Castle across the way also has some bouldering with a shorter flatter walk in though it's not as good as the Dam Boulders
