 Topic - Presciption cat 4 glacial sunglasses

I am having a massive problem trying to get cat 4 prescription glacial sunglasses for my prescription (-9.50). I have spent hours on the internet and in opticians but no-one is willing to do them for such a high prescription. I am off to the himalaya's in 3 weeks and am now having a panic. Does anyone know where I get them from? I'm sure I'm the only person in Britain who climbs with such a high prescription!
Alternatively can anyone advise me if putting cat 4 ski mask over my glasses would be ok? At our pre-epedition weekend our guides advised against doing this, i think because they steam up. But if the other option is snow blindness, then I'll take steaming up! I do wear contacts, so it might only be summit day that I can't wear them for. I've worn contacts up to 5000m before with no problems, but don't want to rely on them in -25 degrees.
