/ Wild Camping Glen Muick & Spittal of Glen Muick
Not sure about camping round there, I rarely camp anywhere that's visible from a road.
You could look at bothies, there's quite a few in the area.
Gelder Shiel Stable: LR 44; NO 257 900, MBA
Sheilin of Mark: LR 44; NO 337 827, MBA. Small but quiet and very nice.
I believe there's also one at Glas-alt-Sheil, but I don't have details, it's not MBA.
i camped on the picnic area which is probably bad form but i was in and out before anyone would have noticed. arrived 9:30 away by 7am
The one at Glas-alt Sheil is round the back of the hunting lodge. Maintained by Dundee Rucksac club I think(?) but it's a very nice bothy and plenty roomy enough for several parties.
