Hi folks.

Any ideas on a cheap rope for abuse at the wall?
I'm looking for something, 40m max, cheap as chips and fairly durable.

That way I can keep my nice rope for being actually outdoors.

Obv doesn't need dry treatment etc.

Any clues?

Oh!
and looking for something new, any offers of second hand ropes will be politely declined for obvious reasons.

Thanks!

mammut promo. approx 30m, often seen in shops in proper packaging etc. Don't know if it's any particular type, but 10mm whenever i've seen it.
I've a yellowy one that is nice to handle & tough (so far).

Mammut Promo or Beal Edlinger. I ahve a 35m Edlinger which cost me £50 three years ago, and it's still in very good condition (although that might say more about how often I climb than about the rope's longevity!). It also handles very nicely.

...and should be about £30-£35 for 30m

You'll need a 50m rope if you come to the Kendal Wall

Cheers guys - Promo looks good. Will get one ordered.

Steve - It'll be a sad day when I get up to the lakes and visit a wall!
