Adam Ondra on Climb for life, 9a, San Vito, Sicily, 3 kbAdam Ondra has left the cold in the far north of Norway for the considerably nicer weather of Sicily, Italy, where he attended the San Vito climbing festival.
Personally, I think it was at the nick of time he left the north, as he had started to try onsighting loose traditional lines in virgin...

In reply to UKC News: Where was he up north Björn? It must be really dark and cold by now?! Interesting to hear he is trad climbing, even if - errr, he still has some "skills development" to do in that arena!

How many languages does that lad speak by the way? His Italian sounds pretty good in the video.

In reply to Alan James - Rockfax: I saw that, but Flatanger is hardly "the far north". I presume Björn meant Lofoten, Kvaløya or similar. Also no mention of trad there either although presumably there is plenty of rock around for that!
In reply to TobyA: After Flatanger Adam went north up to the Narvik area (not sure exactly where), and I guess most would consider this the far north
